Google Search as we all know is the most used search engine in the whole world. Google;s popularity cannot be weighed with that of it's competitors.
Personally, Google.com.gh was the first webpage I visited the very first day I used the internet. It even got to a time when you ask a friend a question, He/She replies "Ask Google".
Anytime you search on the web, your browser keeps record of your search history so you revisit a particular page any other time, unless you clear them all. Interestingly, Google keeps record of your search activities on the internet too. And now, it allows you to download a copy of your entire web search history to a desktop. This aids you to have access to your data when you want, where you want. Let's see how to do it.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD YOUR ENTIRE GOOGLE SEARCH HISTORY
- Go to your Google Web History. (You'll need to log in to your Google account).
- Once logged in, click the gear icon on the top right corner and select "download."
- A box will pop up that says "Please read this carefully, it's not the usual yada yada."
It warns users that the data contains sensitive information and it's
important to store it securely. If you decide to download the
information, hit "create archive."
- You'll get an email confirmation that includes a link to the data. The data are stored in your Google Drive in "Takeout folders," which can be downloaded to a desktop.
Downloading a user's Google search history does not delete it. If an individual wants to delete his or her Web search history, Google offers steps on its support site to control what is saved.
If an individual does decide to delete information, the data will no longer be linked to his or her account, but it may be saved by the company "to prevent spam and abuse and to improve our services," according to Google.
