Do you remember rLG's hope city concert On March 5 2013 at the Accra Sports Stadium?.

The Hope City concert organized by rLG featured American singer Chris Brown and other local musicians as well. A concert which didn't end well as many expected.
Some where along the line, there was a problem. Chris Brown caused a headache. He smoked on stage, something many believed to be Marijuana. A thing Ghanaian artistes will dare not do. He was accused of promoting smoking among Ghanaians rather than rLG.

rLG replied by saying what the singer smoked wasn't Marijuana. It was an e-cigarette as part of his stage craft. It didn't go down well with most Ghanaians though. For most of them (including Me) it was the first time they heard of and electronic cigarette. So they kept wondering... soon, it passed by and new topic made headlines.

Now let's take a look at what electronic cigars are;

Electronic cigarettes/smokeless cigarettes/e-cigarettes are battery powered devices containing a nicotine based liquid that is vaporized and inhaled.It works by converting liquid nicotine into vapor that the user inhales. It is used to fire up the experience of smoking tobacco.
E-cigars as I prefer to call them do not contain tobacco, even though they contain nicotine, a compound found in the tobacco plant. There's no fire, no ash and no smokey smells. They do not contain all the harmful chemical found in tobacco cigars like carbon mono-oxide and tar.
It is seen by many as an alternative to tobacco smokers who want to quit smoking.

Electronic cigarettes were first Made-In-China by Hon Lik, a Chinese pharmacist in 2003. It was since patented and went commercial the following year. Today, there are many companies engaged in the production of e-cigarettes. It terms of look, they are designed to look like traditional tobacco cigars but there are also different other designs too.
