How to Better Plan the Year 2015

2014 has just come to and end in a flash and everyone is asking where did the year go?. So for the 12 months, 52 weeks, 365 days and 8760 hours of 2014 what were you able to achieve?
Have you achieved all you wanted for that year?. For Me, I have accomplished half of my plans for 2014.
For many people, the beginning of a new year means making new resolutions which they might not be able to achieve. Always, try setting goals which are a bit higher than what you can achieve so that achieving half means achieving a lot for you.
In planning for the New Year 2015, you should keep the following in mind:

  1. What do I want to achieve?

  2. How do I achieve it?

  3. What resources do I need to achieve them?

What do I want to  achieve?

You can think with regard to your personal goals, with regards to family, health, social life, career and anything else. Don't keep your resolution in your head. Write it down in a book or sheet when you are in a good relaxed mood. Be serious to think about it as to why you want to achieve it.You should set goals which can be translated into reality. After writing down your resolutions, you then plan how to achieve it.

How do I achieve it?

Once you have finished writing down your goals, you think of how to bring them to reality. Do you need some form of Education in order to achieve it?.
This will bring us to the idea of planning. Planning is simply the arrangement of wants in a well ordered manner so as to guide an individual to embark on an exercise and to achieve desired result. Once you've planned, you start working towards executing those plans.

What resources do I need to achieve it?

You might need education. Education equips you with  the necessary skills and knowledge that will help you to achieve your desired goals. You might also need finance to kick start your project, buy your dream house or car, encouragement and support from family etc.to push you into achieving your resolutions.

After you have a list of goals, show it to a good friend, family or partner. Do not feel shy. They'll be  glad to see it. By sharing  it, it will make it easier for you to gain their support in achieving your goal.

How to stick the plan:
Print a copy of your document. Keep it in your or office drawer or any other place where you can easily see it everyday. You can revise them every week or month to see how your progress. Let them be a motivation for you to keep working towards achieving your goals. Always remember that you can do it.
